Kyueun Kim is a feminist, educator, and a Ph.D. student in Theatre and Performance at The Graduate Center, CUNY. Her research explores the epistemologies of technology and the human body, radical democracy and social performance at (digital) public spheres, and East Asian urban modernities and popular (media) culture. She teaches at Baruch College and is interested in the scholarship of teaching and learning. She holds a certificate in Critical Theory and organizes the Performing Pedagogy, Performance Pedagogy Conference as part of the Interactive Technology and Pedagogy Certificate Program.

 

Mara Valderrama is a Ph.D. candidate in Theatre and Performance at The Graduate Center, CUNY, and Senior Associate of Programs at the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center. She holds a Mellon Humanities Alliance Fellowship and teaches at LaGuardia Community College and at Baruch College. Her research focuses on representations of gender in Spanish contemporary theatre. She is the managing editor for Spain at The Theatre Times and the 2018 recipient of the IFTR New Scholars Prize.. In addition to her current ventures as a scholar, she has wide experience as a performer.

Curtis Russel is a Ph.D. student in Theatre and Performance at The Graduate Center, with a certificate in film studies. A member of Drama Desk, he received his M.A. in theatre criticism and dramaturgy from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. He researches the cinema and performance of the Americas.

 

Christine Snyder entered the CUNY Graduate Center doctoral program in Theatre and Performance after completing her M.A. in Theatre History and Criticism at Brooklyn College. Her research interests include theatre photography and graphic design, theatre audience, the U.S. Civil War, and U.S. American popular culture, particularly musical theatre, as historiography. She has worked in Broadway front-of-houses for twenty-two years and drives a 2011 Mini Cooper named Fenimore.
